I design and build complex game systems for Minecraft Bedrock — state machines, entity systems, tooling — working around engine limitations to create mechanics that shouldn't be possible.

About Me

Gameplay systems, add-on architecture, and technical implementation for Minecraft Bedrock.

I'm Christian Loffel, a Bedrock systems developer with over a decade in the Minecraft space. I started building maps and was commissioned by studios like Blockworks, Spark Squared, and Aria Creations when they were at the top of the scene.

After a long break, I came back — but this time the part that pulls me in is the code. The systems. The constraint-driven problem solving that Bedrock forces on you.

I know this game at a deep level. Not just how to use the tools, but why the engine behaves the way it does, where the limits are, and how to build around them in ways that feel native — not hacked together.
